Mrs. Ewing, my 4-H knitting instructor taught me how to wind yarn, before she taught me how to knit… first things first!  At age 8, I didn’t appreciate the therapeutic value of yarn winding… today I do, as well as the reflection while winding. This one was a bit messy, but I don’t obsess with perfection as was the case in the past.

Still trying to get the feel of the new camera… so today’s subject was this freshly wound ball of yarn. It’s not coming back to me very easily… light, focal length, focus, etc., what did I say about obsessing about perfection?
