Heart of Glass

… not of the Blondie type. :)

Picked up a nice little German heart and assorted glass buttons in The Bottoms on First Friday.  The G9 is going to the shop… again… so this was taken with a newly purchased Lumix DMC-S27.  The Lumix was purchased today mainly because living without a camera is impossible and I wanted to try a tiny camera… must stop carrying the G9 in my purse!!  This little camera has a Leica lens… going to have to play with it a while before deciding on whether to keep… it seems to want to focus on the lower right no matter where the viewfinder is positioned.  Compensation might be an option, but it will take some time.  I also thought about trying the Nikon Coolpix S01… it’s even smaller.  The Target sales guy said that people don’t like it because it is too small… he just wanted me to spend more money. ;)

Headed out to try some outside shots… it’s beautiful out there and supposed to be in the 50’s this week. Still not enough moisture though… it might be a “slight” spring if we don’t get some rain.  I’m officially ordering up some during the weeks ahead of course, not on the weekends thank you!

Abracadabra… to this (reject below) with the addition of a beautiful Christmas gift book “What Can She Do”… just a tad better with a nice background. Still lacking the quality of the G9 though.

  1. The G9 is pretty hard to beat, even with a dSLR. It’s amazing how the background affects the basket. Much prefer the first shot.

  2. Hard to choose, isn’t it. So many out there to pick from now.
