Together Again

It has been 30 years since these three panels have been on exhibition together.  It was a spiritual experience that no words can describe.

  1. What is the story behind the panels? The colors are beautiful-like those of a spring morning.

  2. The 3 panels of Monet’s Water Lilies Triptych, Agapanthus, belong to three different museums, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, The St. Louis Art Museum and the Cleveland Museum of Art. This is the first time in 30 years they have been on exhibition together. The right panel is on permanent display here in KC.

  3. I had heard of, but not seen them. They are stunning! Are they lit from behind?

  4. They are only lit from above Sandy and it’s really very dark in the exhibition room. The photographs actually turned out lighter than the room really is.
