Shout it from the rooftops…

SPRING IS HERE!!!

It’s been a long time coming it seems, but looking at photographs taken last year, we might not be as “late” as I thought.  The snowdrops are finished blooming and beginning to turn to seed already.  Last year they were in their prime so I’m not quite sure why it seems like winter has lasted forever.  Yesterday there was beautiful, welcomed rain.  It could possibly be the dryness that made the snowdrops so short lived this year.  Today… another 80 degree day so guess who will be out working in the garden!  Well, at least until 3 o’clock anyway… VAMOS RAFA!!

Happy Spring Everyone!!!

  1. Yay! Happy Spring! :-)
    Beautiful pic!

  2. I’m in southern Ontario and spring is just starting. Snowdrops are out but not open yet, maybe today. :-)

  3. What a stunning spring image. Love the detail you’ve captured here!

  4. That is a beautiful photo of the pussy willow. I need to plant some snow drops–they are the first herald of spring–and I don’t have a single one. It did seem like a very long winter. We will still get some snowy days, so for us even though it is spring, winter weather really isn’t over. You must be loving your 80 degree weather!

  5. Pretty! Pussy willows sure heralds of spring! (I still can’t get over temps in the 80’s already.)

  6. Spring is Summer as far as I’m concerned and I love summer…

  7. I jumped the fence and clipped a couple of branches;) Shh…don’t tell. Your photo is beautiful! Happy Spring to you!
