Nothing…

but a few words.

russett pompom blossoms
line the witchhazel branches
two robins scurrying to catch a worm
singing their sweet spring song
the crocus’ grassy leaves
birthed from the melted snow
in darkness, the moon almost full
then tomorrow maybe a snowdrop in bloom
no camera
only the human lens
capturing the first signs of the possibility of
….. spring

  1. What a beautiful Spring picture Jewel, sweeter an more satisfying than a photo!

  2. A perfect visual!

  3. Wonderful poem! Love the ‘human lens’ line… so true. Some moments only need to be savored and not neccessarily captured!

  4. Words were enough, beautiful.

I knew I saw crocus in the snow yesterday, but couldn’t remember where.

  5. Simply beautiful (no camera needed)
