Fall Iceberg

Iceberg is so much in the shade that it rarely blooms, but in the fall it gets a bit more sun so there are a few cool weather blooms to enjoy before it freezes.  Hopefully this is not that last, but it was around 50 degrees the past couple of nights… soooo nice!

There is no fancy equipment at my house so this bloom is sitting under the lamp by my bed. The inside of the lampshade is gold so makes a nice golden glow on the pure white petals.

  5. The light was nice for the shot. I have some new england asters just starting to bloom, and next week, we are due for nights in the 30s. It happens every year.
