Stripped Down

The tree peony blooms are now bare naked.  I’m intrigued by the parts that remain after the petals fall.

Still no time to have fun blogging… just a quick post tonight then back to business.  Maybe a few more posts before, hopefully, things slow down a little bit in June and possibly photography can get back to normal.

  1. Very striking. It almost looks like a bud getting ready to open. Looking forward to having you back on a regular basis. :)

  2. What a nice combination of colors and textures! Flowers are interesting in all of their life cycles.

  3. Great shot! Very interesting.
I like the little hints of pink.

  4. This must be a hot weather tree, I don’t know it. Sure makes a good photo.

  5. Oh, this is very intriguing looking. I like all the different shapes of the left-over peony — long and thin, soft fuzzy centers, bits of petals. Very cool.

  6. Still lovely!
