This is the latest in my “birds that don’t move on a cold day” series. I shouldn’t complain, it was actually 36 degrees today! I tuck away “things” during the summer and when fall arrives they begin to show themselves. This bird has been hiding in the azaleas and japanese maple but can be seen clearly now. Add a little greenery and red… voilà, Christmas! The iron plate it is sitting on is from one of my dad’s old pieces of machinery, a planter I believe.
