ZBB = Hoedown!
Last night at the Events Center in Independence, Missouri, Zac Brown, “The” Band, as well as opening acts Levi Lowrey, Sonia Leigh and Nic Cowan threw it down! Zac and his band joined all of the opening acts and they joined him on stage as well. It was 4 hours of unbridled musicianship. I don’t have the facts, but it appeared that every person could play every instrument on stage, which there was a lot of, and sing too. The stage was reminiscent of a comfy home… complete with lamps, tables, tapestry rugs, candleabra, and what appeared to possibly some “favorite things”. The picture below is of the drummer’s “room”… there’s one of the many candelabra, a nice fluffy white towel (one of my personal favorites), Snoopy and Woodstock phone, that chicken could be in honor of “Chicken Fried” and someone must like Carhartt apparel!! There was nothing calm about “the house” though… it was a HOEDOWN… a 4 hour HOEDOWN!!
The evening was complete with autographs from everyone, including the body guard (he was the biggest dude with the longest dreads I’ve ever seen) who even sang in the last performance of the night. There will be more pics and some YouTube, but it is not cooperating right now.
