Green Lines

We’ve had some glorious rain in the past 24 hours and the temperature at 78 is pretty sweet as well. Any July day that I don’t have to water is a wonderful one! This yucca had a leaf that was blown horizontal by the wind and was holding water drops in a very unusual way. As I look at this photo, the angles get more strange to me… I’m not sure that I like it?? Time will tell… on another day.

  1. Nice find, nice colors and shot. I like the slight distortion of the drops as per their position on the leaf.

  2. Very cool! Love it! and I’m enjoying the warm rain, too! It felt great to get caught out in it!

  3. RAIN?! How wonderful! I like the shadings of green in these leaves.

  4. Strong lines, very graphic.

  5. GREAT capture! The lines are wonderful. The droplets really add to it. Wonderful.
