I’ve been under the weather this weekend, so not much celebrating and only a few lame pictures. Perfect for breakfast at Wimbledon though… I wanted Andy to win! *frowns*

One thing I do always look forward to on, or after, the 4th is picking a bouquet of Annabelle hydrangeas. If they are picked too early they wilt overnight. These will look like this until winter… LOVE them! They fit perfectly in the thrift store American cut glass vase on the thrift store stand. I think maybe the tatted piece came from the thrift store too… yep, thrift store junkie and June was a good month!

I’m going out right now to pull that weed!!! Pictures aren’t very forgiving…

  1. Those hydrangeas look so good in that vase!

  2. Nice setup. We use our flag too whenever there is something to celebrate.
And Wimbledon… That match had two winners. Next year Andy gets the bigger plate. Or next again. He is a winner!

  3. I didn’t know hydrangeas could be cut and then kept so long. I have a few out the back door–have to give them a try.

  4. We had some green hydrangeas near our house last summer. Nowhere to be found now. Which is sad. Cause they’re my fave. :)
