Little Bitty Pretty One

I think I’ve mentioned before how I love tiny bouquets… this one is no exception. (Maybe I was a fairy in another life??) I like the first photo, but was told the second one was better so I’ll just post both. Had a little trouble with light/color on these… need practice or lightroom maybe??!!! Yes, it’s another tarnished silver thrift store vase… and yes, I’m a vaseaholic!!

It’s finally raining today… sweet glorious spring rain!

  1. That is really pretty! Nice combination of blossoms, and I love the vase!

  2. Everything about this is artistry…I love the textures and contrasts.

  3. Love that top one. Way to make a wonderful background for your image. You do a terrific job with your mini-bouquets. Very elegant even against a rusty ol’ bucket!

  4. I love the composition in this one. The rusty texture as background and fresh colours in the foreground. WoW! Thats CoooL!!

  5. Hi Dana! Thanks so much for your comment on my blog the other day. I finally get to check out yours!
Both of these pictures are great, and it’s tough picking a favorite.

  6. Love that top one! Wow! You really use the G9 like it should be used. Your photos are gorgeous, especially your macros, proving once again it’s not the camera, it’s the photographer. Very awesome.

  7. thanks teresa… it is my first digital. i bought it a year ago to see if i could make the move from film and have never looked back. i think about a DSLR often and will probably go there soon. i will always carry the G9 though… hefty, handy little tool!!
