A day at the museum and where am I first… at the flowers in Rozelle Court of course… like there is nothing else going on in the place but a large bowl of beautiful flowers… lilies in particular.
then… as I turn around to capture the “bigger picture”… who is on the left, but Xu Longsen, the artist who painted the largest Chinese landscape in history, the feature exhibition at The Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, “The Law of the Dao Is Its Being What It Is”. It was such an honor to meet him and see this painting. The photos just don’t capture the enormity and beauty.
